Here we are, it’s almost time for ExpoBiomasa, Spain’s leading Bioenergy trade show.
The 14th Spring Edition which will take place May 9-11, 2023, aims to promote the participation and assistance of the wide world composed of companies and professionals interested in this sector and with the clear intention of becoming the reference arena for a market that is growing more and more every year.
Jorge Herrero, director of Expobiomasa, motivated the decision of the change by stating “So far we have held the event in the fall, with the “On High” campaign that in the first years was a communication shock succeeding in increasing stove and pellet sales, but now it has changed with the maturity achieved by the market“.
It is that, today, given the increase in equipment sales, shortages of certain components and better information management by customers, the industry is forced to anticipate both plant planning and supply contracts.
Since Expobiomasa first Edition in 2006, European pellet usage in the residential sector has increased from 3 million tons to more than 18 million. Over the same period, domestic pellet usage in Spain increased to 700,000 tons per year consumed in 2020, and forecasts suggest it will exceed 800,000 tons in 2023.
“With the change of dates, we intend to help our exhibitors improve production planning in their plants for the season and more accurately manage stocks for distribution. This will enable them to provide consumers with the best service.”
Expobiomasa is bidding to be the industry’s largest event in 2023 in Spain in Portugal and throughout Europe.
